Maris Liloson



Maris Liloson graduated from the Estonian Music and Theatre Academy in 2002 (in Anu Kaal’s singing class). She sung in the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir in 2002–2004 and in the chorus of the Estonian National Opera in 2004–2012. She has also participated in the projects of Nargen Opera and sung in the Ensemble Voces Musicales. Her roles include Daisy Darlington (Pál Ábrahám’s “Ball im Savoy”), Stasi (Kálmán’s “Die Csárdásfürstin”), Pamina (Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte”), Carolina (Cimarosa “Il matrimonio segreto”), Clarice (Haydn’s “Il mondo della luna”), Hannerl (Schubert’s/Berté’s “Das Dreimädelhaus”), etc. She has also performed as a soloist in large scale works (Vivaldi’s “Gloria”, Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater”, Gounod’s “Messe solennelle”, Rutter’s “Requiem”, Haydn’s oratorio “The Seasons” and “St. John Passion” by J. S. Bach.)
