Lidia Svetozarova


Lidia Svetozarova graduated from the Vladimir Regional Music College with a specialization in “Choir Conducting”, the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts in the field of “Actor of Musical Theatre”. In 2011 Lidia was a trainee and since 2012 she is a soloist of Helikon-Opera. Her repertoire includes Micaëla (Bizet’s “Carmen”), Olympia (Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann”), Verdi’s Nanetta (“Falstaff”), Oscar (“Un ballo in maschera”), Dorella (Wagner’s “Das Liebesverbot”), Vampuka (Erenberg’s “Vampuka, the African Bride”), Nicoletta (Prokofiev’s “The Love for Three Oranges”), Volkhova (Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Sadko”), Gretchen (Sergunin’s “Doctor Haass”), the title role in Stravinsky’s “Le Rossignol”. In 2010 she won a special prize at the Glinka International Vocal Competition “For Best Performance of a Modern Music Composition Created after 1975”.
