Larisa Kostyuk


Larisa Kostyuk graduated from the Gnessins State Musical College and Moscow State University of Culture. She is a soloist of Helikon-Opera since 1995. She is a guest soloist of Stockholm Royal Opera, the Bastille Opera, the Canadian Opera and the Bolshoi Theatre. She is a teacher at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Her repertoire includes the title role in Bizet’s “Carmen”, Muse and Nicklausse (Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann”), Madame de Croissy (Poulenc’s “Les Dialogues des Carmelites”), Rosina (Rossini’s “Il barbiere di Siviglia”), Verdi’s Supreme Priestess (“Aida”), Mrs. Quickly (“Falstaff”), Federica (“Luisa Miller”), Fenena (“Nabucco”), Flora (“La traviata”), Azucena (“Il trovatore”), Marina Mniszek (Mussorgsky’s “Boris Godunov”), Sonya (Prokofiev’s “War and Peace”), Rimsky-Korsakov’s Kasheevna (“Kashchey the Immortal”), Amelfa (“The Golden Cockerel”), Lyubasha (“The Tsar’s Bride”), Sonyetka (Shostakovich’s “Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District”), Olga (Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin”), etc. She has two golden medals in category “Opera” of the First World Arts Championship (USA, 1997).
