Kadri Kipper obtained her Master’s degree in singing from Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2012 (cum laude, the class of Professor Jaakko Ryhänen). She has participated in the master classes of Eva Märtson, Rita Dams, Barbara Pierson, Kevin Smith, Elizabeth Erlingsdottir, Franz Lukasovski and Paolo de Napoli. In 2010–2012 she was the member of NO Opera Academy and since 2012 she is the soloist of the Estonian National Opera. Kadri Kipper has performed the leading role of Erika in Tõnu Kõrvits’ “Butterfly”, Adina (Donizetti’s “L’elisir d’amore”), Mabel Gibson (Kálmán’s “Die Zirkusprinzessin”), Daisy (Ábrahám’s “Ball im Savoy”), Tzeitel (Bock’s “Fiddler on the Roof”), Gilda (Verdi’s “Rigoletto”), Roxane (Tamberg’s “Cyrano de Bergerac”), Barbarina (Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”), Mercédès (Bizet’s “Carmen”), Maria (Leigh’s “Man of La Mancha”), 4th Flower Girl (Wagner’s “Parsifal”), Fire and the Nightingale in Ravel’s lyric fantasy “L’enfant et les sortilèges” (the production of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre’s Opera Studio, 2010) and sung the soprano part in Schubert’s Mass No. 2 in G Major, Beethoven’s Mass in C Major and Orff’s “Carmina burana”. As a member of the Estonia Concert Choir, she has participated in many performances of oratorios.
