Janne Shevtshenko has graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music in 1998 as a student of Anu Kaal. During the years 1992–2004 she was engaged at the Estonian National Opera as a chorus singer. Since 2004 she is the soloist in the same company. Her debut as an opera singer was in 1999 as Zerlina (Mozart’s Don Giovanni). She has also performed at Von Krahl Theatre and at the revue theatre Bel Etage. Janne Shevtshenko has done the dubbing for animations such as Peter’s Trip to the Moon, Blinky Bill, Shark Tale, Shrek 3, Frank and Wendy. Janne Shevtshenko is the member of the Estonian Theatre Union and the Estonian Actors Union. Since 2000 she has also been engaged by Theatre Bel-Étage and can be heard on many recordings by the company. She is the winner of Harjumaa county prize 2011 and the SEB Audience Award 2013.
