Alfia Kamalova

Soprano

Alfia Kamalova began her singing studies in 2000 at the Estonian Music Academy with Anu Kaal and at Sibelius Academy with Anita Välkki. She has participated in the master classes of Maria Venuti, Monica Groop and Tom Krause. Her repertoire includes Gretel (Humperdinck’s “Hänsel und Gretel”), Mozart’s Servilia (“La clemenza di Tito”) and Blonde (“Die Entführung aus dem Serail”), Roxane (Tamberg’s “Cyrano de Bergerac”), Musetta (Puccini’s “La bohème”), Nannetta (Verdi’s “Falstaff”), Anna (Nicolai’s “Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor”), Sophie (Massenet’s “Werther”) and Countess Anastasia (Kálmán’s “Die Csárdásfürstin”). In 2005–2008 she was the soloist of Stadttheater Giessen and since the season 2008/09 she is the soloist of Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen.
