Alessandro Luciano first studied piano, composition and conducting, before he started his voice studies with Romualdo Savastano. He participated in the master classes by Giuseppe Sabatini, Ernesto Palacio and Robert Kettelson and frequented the Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica Silvio D’Amico in Rome. His repertoire includes Ecclitico (Haydn’s “Il Mondo della Luna”), Prokofiev’s Prince (“The Love for Three Oranges”) and Alexei (“The Gambler”),  the title role in Paisiello/Henze’s “Don Chisciotte”, Mozart’s Don Basilio (“Le nozze di Figaro”), Tamino (“Die Zauberflöte”) and Bastien (“Bastien und Bastienne”), Nemorino (Donizetti’s “L’elisir d’amore”), Rossini’s Don Ramiro (“La Cenerentola”), Alberto (“L’occasione fa il ladro”), Belfiore and Liebenskof (“Il viaggio a Reims”) and Almaviva (“Il barbiere di Siviglia”), Romeo (Gounod’s “Romeo and Juliet”), Alfredo (Verdi’s “La traviata”) as well as tenor parts in Schönberg’s “Gurre-Lieder” and “Ode to Napoleon Buonaparte” Op. 41, Rossini’s “Missa di Gloria”, etc. He has performed at many renowned opera houses, such as Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Regio (Turin), Teatro Real (Madrid), Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, etc.
