Albina Kotshetova graduated from Estonian Music Academy in 2002 (the singing class of Tõnu Bachmann). Since 2005 she studies singing with Prof. Jaakko Ryhänen and since 2002  she sings in the chorus of the Estonian National Opera. She has also sung smaller soloist parts in the productions of the theatre, such as Masha and Prilepa (The Queen of Spades by Tchaikovsky), Angelica (Puccini’s Suor Angelica, the production of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Opera Studio, 2007), etc. She won the special prize at the International Amber Nightingale Competition in 2006.
