Last performances of „Aida“!

On May 2 and 11, „Aida“ by Giuseppe Verdi will have its last two performances. Starring guest soloists Mikheil Sheshaberidze as Radamés and Monika-Evelin Liiv as Amneris.

Stage director Tobias Kratzer: „Verdi’s masterpiece „Aida“ is a suspenseful thriller of love and betrayal. It is as close to the splendours of Grand Opèra as it is to the psychological depths of Henrik Ibsen.

Verdi’s „Aida“ premiered at the Estonian National Opera on January 22, 2016. Stage Director is Tobias Kratzer (Germany), Designer Rainer Sellmaier (Germany) and Lightning Designer Priidu Adlas. Starring Heli Veskus (Aida), Mikheil Sheshaberidze (Radamés), Monika-Evelin Liiv (Amneris), Aare Saal (Amonasro), Priit Volmer (Ramfis), Mart Laur (Egyptian King), Olga Zaitseva (Queen) etc. Conductor Vello Pähn.
