Estonian National Opera’s traditional Christmas Concert

Estonian National Opera Christmas Concert takes place on December 21, at 18.00 in Tallinn St. John’s Church. Concert will be performed by Kristel Pärtna (soprano), Helen Lokuta (mezzo-soprano), Mehis Tiits (tenor), Priit Volmer (bass), Mart Laas (cello) Estonian National Opera Chorus and Orchestra. Conductor Lauri Sirp.

This year’s Chirstmas Concert presents Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Vesperae solennes de confessore”, K. 339 as its highlight performed by the soloists, chorus and orchestra of the Estonian National Opera. In addition Tchaikovsky’s “Preghiera” from the suite “Mozartiana”, Nocturne No. 4, Op. 19, Sarastro’s aria “In diesen heil’gen Hallen” from Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute as well as many well-known Christmas carols will be performed.
