October dazzles with guest soloists

In October, Estonian National Opera is honoured to host brilliant guest soloists.

The programme features Mozart’s opera „Le nozze di Figaro“ on October 3rd and 9th. The role of the Countess will be sung by Elena Brazhnyk, the winner of the international contest “Vivat Art” (2012) and the finalist of the Klaudia Taev Competition (2015).

On October 10th, soprano Kristina Vähi will debut in the role of Malvina in Ehala’s musical “Buratino“.

On October 13th, in the role of Christel from Zeller’s operetta “The Bird Seller” will be sung by Angelika Mikk, who made her role debut on September 27th.

On October 14th, the role of Alfredo from “La traviata” will be sung by Igor Morozov, who, in addition to opera has a wide range of chamber music and symphonic music in his repertoire.

On October 27th and November 1st, in the title part of Gounod’s opera “Faust” will be  tenor David Astorga, who has previously worked with Zubin Mehta, Placido Domingo, Sebastiano Rolli and other well-known conductors. Astorga will be partnered by an internationally recognized soprano Perrine Madoeuf as Marguerite.
