Darrel Ang will conduct Bizet’s opera “Carmen”

Singapore-born conductor has a long list of prestigious accomplishments. Darrell Ang’s triumph at the 50th Besançon International Young Conductors Competition (2007), where he took all three top awards – Grand Prize, Audience Prize and Orchestra Prize – launched his international career, leading to the music directorship of the Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne and numerous guest conducting engagements all over the world. In 2015, Darrell Ang made a triumphant debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, which led to an immediate reengagement in the 2015/16 season.
