A brand new performance of “The Nutcracker” will be presented to the audience on December 3, and this time the director and designer come from behind the ocean. The choreographer Ben Stevenson is considered one of the most important developers of American ballet. He has been the artistic director of the Houston Ballet almost for 30 years and since 2003 he works as the artistic director of the Texas Ballet Theatre. The traditional New Year's Eve ball will take place on December 31. The artistic directors of the ball will be Arne Mikk and Toomas Edur. This time the programs of the ball got inspiration from the music of George Gershwin, and there will be several different surprises for the guests of the ball.
