Luana Georg graduated from the Tallinn Ballet School in 1993. During the years 1993–1994 she was the member of the Estonian National Opera ballet troupe. Since 1999 she is the soloist of the same company. Her repertoire includes: Rosalinde (Hynd’s Rosalinde), Manon and Lescaut’s Mistress (MacMillan’s Manon), Sylph (La Sylphide by Bournonville), Quiteria (Minkus’ Don Quixote), Aurora, Florina (The Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky), Marie, Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy (The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky), Cinderella (Prokofiev’s Cinderella), Juliet (Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet), Clara (Bigonzetti’s Coppélia), Mélisande (Härm’s Pelléas et Mélisande), Amour (Minkus’ Don Quixote), pas de trois, Dance of the Small Swans (Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake), Wili, I act pas de deux (Adam’s Giselle), pas de deux (The Flower Festival in Genzano by Bournonville), pas de deux (The Flame of Paris by Assafiev), Beauty (The Firebird by Stravinsky), solo from Elo’s Red With Me, Rose (Vàmos’ Shannon Rose), etc. Luana Georg has been given several awards: The Klaudia Maldutis’ Prize (2001), Philip Morris Dance Prize (2000, 2002), Estonian Theatre Award (2004), President of the Republic’s Cultural Foundation Young Cultural Figure Award (2007), in 2011 she won the ERGO Dance Award.
